THE Trade department on Thursday reiterated calls to ratify the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement, but noted that in order to reap the benefits, the Philippines should focus on its comparative advantage.
In a virtual forum organized by the Association of the Philippines-China Understanding, Trade Assistant Secretary Allan Gepty said that the Philippines not joining the RCEP is "catastrophic."
