(UPDATE) OCTA Research senior fellow Dr. Guido David said on Wednesday that pre-election surveys were just snapshots of voters' preference, hence they should not be treated as a representation of the general public's liking.

"The public should really vote who they want to vote — ganoon naman ang democracy natin. HIndi naman tayo dapat magbase sa survey results kung ano sino ang pipiliin natin (that is how our democracy works. We should not base our preference on survey results)," David said during the Laging Handa Public Briefing.
