ACTOR Arjo Atayde said Sunday his desire to join politics was inspired by his parents' lifelong commitment to help the community.
Atayde, a candidate for representative in Quezon City's first district, who was the guest in the 12th episode of The Manila Times' "Lights, Camera, Boto!" The Chat Show Edition, said his goal of serving his constituents was rooted in his sensitivity and understanding of human reality that he developed by portraying different characters during his acting career.
