Kouame, Lucero lead UAAP MVP race

ANGELO Kouame of Ateneo de Manila University is the frontrunner for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84 men's basketball tournament.

Kouame leads the pack with 68.0 statistical points (SPs) built around his averages of 12.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks through eight games. His production is one of the major reasons why Ateneo remains unbeaten and sitting on top of the team standings with an 8-0 record.
