Lacson to push green energy

PRESIDENTIAL candidate Sen. Panfilo 'Ping' Lacson said he would boost the number of renewable energy infrastructures in the country if elected in the May 9 national polls.

'If we are going to pour more funds into research and development like the other countries, our scientists and researchers will not get out of the country. They can harness things like solar [power],' Lacson said in Filipino and English during a campaign stop in Romblon.
