Sugar stakeholders criticize SRA head anew

STAKEHOLDERS of the local sugar industry has slammed Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) head Hermenegildo Serafica for his statement that the issue on sugar importation has become 'very political' after his draft proposal of Sugar Order (SO) 4 was leaked to the public.

'There is nothing political about our stance, this is purely survival of the sugar industry,' former SRA board member Dino Yulo said on Tuesday.
