AXA Philippine unit stresses value of home insurance

HOME insurance with fire coverage is necessary now that fire incidences are on the rise, an insurance company said.

AXA Philippines said in a statement that the Bureau of Fire Protection indicated a 12.9-percent increase in fire incidences from January to February this year compared to the same time last year. In terms of statistics, there were 2,103 fire incidents in the first two months of this year, up from 1,863 the previous year.
