Honda to invest $40B in EV technology in next 10 years

TOKYO: Japanese automaker Honda said on Tuesday it would invest nearly $40 billion into electric vehicle (EV) technology over the next decade as it works toward shifting all sales away from traditional fuel cars.

Global car giants are increasingly prioritizing electric and hybrid vehicles, with demand growing for less polluting models as concern about climate change grows.
