THE local bourse returned to negative territory on Monday amid worries on inflation and developments abroad.

The 30-member Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) slipped by 0.42 percent, or 29.73 points, to its intraday low of 6,988.29, while the broader All Shares shed 0.3 percent, or 11.24 points, to close at 3,728.21.
