Araña powers Chiefs to second win

JUSTIN Araña led Arellano University to its second win as the Chiefs defeated the Mapua University Cardinals, 72-63, in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 97 men's basketball tournament at the La Salle Green Hills Gym on Sunday.

Still not 100 percent as he continues to recover from the injury he sustained late in Arellano's game against San Sebastian in the season-opener, Araña played splendidly, churning out 17 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks, and three assists.
