Downward bias seen for PSEi this week

THE local bourse is expected to move with a downward bias this trading week amid the lingering concerns both onshore and abroad.

Philstocks Financial Inc. senior research analyst Japhet Tantiangco said the hawkish monetary policy outlook of the US Federal Reserve remains a 'big concern' for the market as tightening could 'lead to more foreign fund outflows from the Philippines and a weakening of the peso.'
