SEN. Panfilo Lacson has accepted the apology of Deputy Speaker Jose "Lito" Atienza who earlier suggested that he quit the presidential race and support his running mate, Sen. Emmanuel Pacquiao.
"With humility, apology accepted, na-tweet ko na ito. Siguro may miscommunication, sa making (I have already tweeted this. Perhaps, there was miscommunication)... All's well that ends well, and I'd like to thank Deputy Speaker Atienza for having the humility to offer his apology and sabi ko nga talagang (as I have said, it's really) from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate his gesture of offering a public apology. 'Di madali gumawa ng public apology (It's not easy to make a public apology) and for that, I take my hat off to DS Atienza," Lacson said in a media forum on Saturday.
