SBMA gates opening decried

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT: Residents of the Subic Bay Freeport have decried the opening of gates along the perimeter fence by Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Rolen Paulino Sr., purportedly to provide access to residents of a neighboring hilltop barangay (village) in Olongapo City.

Paulino, a former mayor of Olongapo City who was appointed SBMA chairman last March 1, unlocked a gate along the perimeter fence near the residential area of West Kalayaan here on Monday, April 4, and gave the keys to his son, Olongapo Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr., and East Bajac-Bajac barangay captain Gilbert Piñero.
