THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will release in phases the new 1000-Piso polymer banknote beginning April 18 this year.
This was announced by central bank Governor Benjamin Diokno during a virtual briefing on Thursday, when he also said the banknotes would be released first through over-the-counter services in banks.
