Hilton hotels in Southeast Asia rally around World Water Day 2022

IN line with World Water Day 2022, Hilton's hotels and resorts across Southeast Asia have amplified their efforts toward the group's unwavering commitment to raising awareness of reduced water consumption and improving people's access to clean drinking water in local communities through a range of activities. Key to this focus is Hilton's Travel with Purpose 2030 Goals wherein the company remains fully committed to reducing its environmental footprint by half and doubling its social impact investment by 2030.

'The United Nations states that the human right to safe water is the foundation for achieving many other internationally recognized human rights and over 2.2 billion people live without access to safe water daily with around 110 million living in Southest Asia. As one of the largest hospitality companies in the world, Hilton has a responsibility to do our part, and we are absolutely committed to delivering purposeful guest experiences to all who pass through our doors. Through concerted efforts by our team members in Southeast Asia, travelers will enjoy greater peace of mind, knowing that their stay at Hilton's hotels and resorts helps to make that destination a better place to live, work and experience,' says Alexandra Murray, vice president, head of Southeast Asia, Hilton.
