1 dead, 3 hospitalized due to ammonia leak from Navotas ice plant

THE Navotas City police are investigating a reported ammonia leak early Tuesday from an ice plant, which resulted in the death of a worker and the hospitalization of three others.

Case officer SSg. Karl Benzon dela Cruz said the incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. inside Magsimpan Ice Plant along M. Naval Street, Barangay North Bay Boulevard South-Kaunlaran.
