Last weekend's trade mission to meet with the Filipino and Filipino-American filmmakers based in Los Angeles can be summed-up in three words — connection, collaboration, community.

The Film Development Council of the Philippines flew to Los Angeles, California — home of Hollywood and the epicenter of entertainment business in North America — to explore partnerships and collaborations between Filipino-American stakeholders and our local film and audiovisual industry. And as they say, many roads begin in Hollywood.
