Ateneo beats La Salle, seizes top spot

Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) beat De La Salle University (DLSU), 74-57, to stay unbeaten at 4-0 and seize the top spot in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

The Blue Eagles pulled away from the Green Archers with a 19-4 blast capped by a Dave Ildefonso layup, turning a 42-41 lead at the 5:11 mark of the third frame into a 61-45 advantage with 6:50 left in regulation.
