PET DOGS, CATS GET FREE ANTI-RABIES SHOTS

IMUS CITY, Cavite: The local government here under Buklod Filipino party-list first nominee Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi administered free anti-rabies vaccines to pet dogs and cats of residents here in a three-day program in celebration of Rabies Awareness Month this March 2022. This year's theme is 'Rabies Free na Pusa't Aso, Kaligtasan ng Pamilyang Pilipino, Magpabakuna na!' The City Veterinary Services Office has been delivering free pet services such as spaying and neutering, deworming and microchipping. In late March, vaccinations of pets were held in Barangay Medicion 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F; Carsadang Bago 1 and 2; Pag-asa 3; and Alapan 1B. Pre-registration spaying and neutering were also conducted in select villages.
