THE government's budget deficit shrank to P105.8 billion in February, marginally reducing the year-to-date gap.
The shortfall was lower by 8.77 percent, or P10.2 billion, from P116 billion a year earlier due to a "5.16 percent contraction in public spending alongside a 3.26-percent drop in revenue collection," the Bureau of the Treasury said in a statement.
