Formed in July 1985 by the alumni of the Ateneo College Glee Club, The CompanY — which took its name after Stephen Sondheim's hit Broadway musical in '70s titled "Company" — initially performed as back-up vocalists for the pop stars of the '80s before becoming professional recording artists.
