SYDNEY: Australia's national carrier Qantas announced on Wednesday the opening of its first-ever regular passenger route between Darwin, the capital city of the island continent's Northern Territory, and Timor-Leste's capital Dili.
QantasLink chief operating officer Petrea Bradford, who was in Darwin to board the route's inaugural flight, said the flight path marked an exciting milestone in relations between the two countries.
