BACOLOD CITY: The 28 mayors of Negros Occidental who expressed support for the presidential bid of Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. pledged their support for the former senator anew in a meeting held over the weekend, UniTeam provincial spokesman Esteban Coscolluela said.
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr., campaign manager of Marcos, and Narvacan Mayor Luis "Chavit" Singson, president of the League of the Municipalities of the Philippines, met the 28 mayors and four representatives of Negros Occidental at the Stonehill Suites in Bacolod City, Coscolluela said.
