Covid-19 is the third leading cause of death in the country for the entire year 2021, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday.
Citing preliminary estimates, the number of reported fatalities from January to December last year was 766,126, up 24.8 percent from 613,936 in the same period in 2020, PSA Undersecretary Dennis Mapa announced.
