THE Norwegian Training Center (NTC) in Manila recently highlighted the gains it achieved through its programs in supporting the global movement to empower women and pave the way for them to have a greater role especially in maritime.
Led by NTC Managing Director Capt. Jo Even Tomren, the Norwegian training provider celebrated International Women's Day early this month by honoring women for their achievements in their careers, especially in maritime, a traditionally male-dominated industry.
