HANOI: Vietnam's economy expanded by more than 5 percent in the first three months of 2022, the government said on Tuesday, thanks to a pickup in exports as the country emerges from the worst of the coronavirus pandemic, though officials warned of headwinds.
The Southeast Asian communist state has long been a success story among Asian economies, posting growth of 7 percent in 2019.
