Packworks, Connected Women partner to empower 'nanay-preneurs'

FEMALE entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of the economy. According to government estimates, nearly 90 percent of micro and small entrepreneurs are owned by women, who are striving to make a difference in the lives of their families and the communities in which they live.

In time for National Women's Month, Packworks — the country's fastest-growing business-to-business technology platform, which serves sari-sari (variety) stores around the country — is working together with Connected Women to empower and enable 'nanay-preneurs (mother entrepreneurs)' through innovative solutions that will positively impact their lives and the people they value most.

The collaboration between Packworks and Connected Women will help the latter reach a network of 141,000 sari-sari (variety) stores around the country and create jobs in artificial intelligence and other digital tasks. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
