CBCP to bets, voters: Ensure clean elections

THE Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) appealed to candidates, their parties and supporters to ensure that the elections in May will be clean, honest and peaceful.

In a pastoral letter issued on Sunday, CBCP president and Caloocan Bishop Pablo Virgilio David also called on Filipinos to actively participate in the upcoming polls and to express themselves in a 'just, respectful and peaceful manner.'
