NDRRMC readies evacuation of residents in 'high risk areas'

BARANGAY or villages near Taal volcano in Batangas province are now 'high risk areas' following an eruption early Saturday, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

The villages immediately affected are Bilibinwang and Banyaga from Agoncillo; Boso-boso and Bugaan East from Laurel; and Gulod in Calatagan.
