THERE is no foul play in the death of overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Gladys Olarte Fong, a household service worker (HSW) in Kuwait who was found hanging inside her room, according to the Philippine Labor Office (PLO).
In a report to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bell0 3rd, labor attache Nasser Mustafa said the Filipina worker died from yxia, which is characterized by the inability of a person to acquire sufficient oxygen through breathing for an extended period of time.
