The Department of Agriculture (DA) has forged a stronger partnership with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) as the country gears towards attaining food sovereignty amid the pandemic, Ukraine-Russia conflict, and climate change.
During his visit at IRRI headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna earlier this week, Agriculture Secretary William Dar said that the strengthened partnership will sustain increased productivity and incomes not only of Filipino rice farmers, but also of their counterparts in the Asia-Pacific region and the rest of the world.
