THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday brought back the 30-minute "heat stroke break" for traffic enforcers and street sweepers.
In a signed memorandum circular, MMDA Chairman Romando "Don" Artes said that on-duty MMDA field personnel are allowed to leave their posts in shifts and take a break to protect them from exhaustion, stroke, and cramps caused by the hot weather.
