Gov't work continues in Bacolod amid strike

BACOLOD CITY: It will be business as usual at the capitol and the New Government Center in Bacolod City on Monday and Tuesday even as transport groups in the province hold a two-day transport strike.

Rayfrando Diaz, Negros Occidental provincial administrator, over the weekend said that he asked department heads to determine the number of employees who might be affected by the strike so that vehicles can be deployed to transport them to work.
