DOLE backs 4-day workweek

THE Department of Labor and Employment said on Monday that it favors the implementation of a 4-day work week in the private and public sectors.

Labor Undersecretary Benjo Benavidez said that the scheme will greatly help workers cope with rising prices of fuel and other basic commodities.
