Why nations fail

I AM not asking. This is actually a bestselling book full of insightful historical narratives on the origins of power, prosperity and poverty, written by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson.

The book, Why Nations Fail, talks of how a political revolution in 1688 changed institutions in England which led to the industrial revolution. It also talked about the evolution of institutions over time and how they drifted away because they refused to change.
