(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte said that the disappearance of several "sabungeros" or cockfighting enthusiasts was not the fault of the management of cockfighting arenas but of "evil men doing something wrong".
In his speech in Palo, Leyte on Thursday, the President again defended online sabong due to the billions of pesos in revenues it gives the government.
