7.4-magnitude quake hits Japan, 4 dead

(UPDATED) TOKYO: Residents in Japan's Fukushima and Miyagi prefectures were cleaning their homes after a sleepless night following a powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck off the country's northern coasts, smashing furniture, knocking out power and killing at least four people.
