LAST-minute buying marginally extended the local market's gains on Wednesday.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index inched up by 0.09 percent, or 6.53 points, to its day high of 7,026.45 while the broader All Shares barometer increased by 0.53 percent, or 19.61 points, to close at 3,713.68.
