Bicol indigenous villages get DA assistance

LEGAZPI CITY: To alleviate the lives of Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in Bicol, the Department of Agriculture (DA) provided livelihood assistance for 17 IP communities in the provinces of Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte and Sorsogon.

Jayson Gonzales of the DA information department said that the agency provided ready-to-lay (RTL) chickens to IPs as their communal poultry livelihood production as a source of income in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
