MORE than 50,000 female passengers got to ride trains of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) for free on Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2022 as the Department of Transportation (DoTr) joined in the celebration of International Women's Day.
DoTr joined the rest of the world in honoring the valuable role women played in society. As part of the month-long celebration, free rides were given to female passengers of the MRT-3 and LRT-2 lines during peak the hours from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
