CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela: The regional police have been initiating a deeper probe on the Tuesday night shooting that led to the killing of a village councilor and the attacker in Dalena, San Pablo, Isabela. BGen. Steve Ludan, Cagayan Valley regional police director, said the San Pablo town police have been tasked to initiate an investigation on the deaths of village councilor Gerly Telan and his unidentified attacker. Hurt during the incident were village chairman Briccio Gammaru, Isidro Mamauag, Michael Mansibang, Vicenta Guiquing, Jose Mamauag, Sofrino Crisologo and Allen Cauan. Telan and the wounded victims were at a wedding banquet in Dalena village when the suspect appeared on the dance floor and shot the victim. The killer was also shot at the scene.
