AGRICULTURE Secretary William Dar stressed the need for all countries to work together toward more efficient and resilient food production and delivery systems, also for future generations.
Speaking at the four-day 36th FAO Asia-Pacific Regional Conference that kicked off on Tuesday at Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, Dar called on his fellow agriculture ministers and senior officials of member countries of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations for a stronger collective response to curb the impact of the pandemic that has been aggravated by the effects of climate change.
