THE Philippines has called for the protection of civilians in conflict areas and the observance of international humanitarian law.
Manila made the appeal during the 99th Session of the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague, Netherlands on Wednesday.
