MANY American businesses in China see growing tensions between Beijing and Washington as a top challenge despite remaining confident about profit growth in the country and have called on the US government to drop its forceful rhetoric and tit-for-tat actions and pursue communication, an American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) survey recently showed.
According to a Chinese expert, the poll results released last Tuesday reflected US companies' disappointment with President Joe Biden's administration, which not only kept the tariffs and sanctions against Chinese products and companies, but also escalated crackdowns on Chinese firms.
