OUTSOURCING firms that violate the Fiscal Incentives Review Board's (FIRB) work-from-home (WFH) threshold risk losing tax benefits, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) said on Thursday.

"[N]on-compliance with all the conditions prescribed under FIRB Resolution Nos. 19-21 and 23-21 shall be met with suspension of the income tax incentive on the revenue corresponding to the months of non-compliance," BIR Commissioner Caesar Dulay said in Revenue Memorandum 23-2022.
