THE core income of Pangilinan's Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) improved last year amid more toll road traffic and higher volume of electricity sold by Meralco.
In a disclosure on Wednesday, the conglomerate said its core net income increased by 20 percent to P12.3 billion in 2021 from P10.2 billion in 2020.
