LONDON: The Chinese economy's rapid growth and technological upgrades have resulted in very dynamic inflows of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the East Asian country, according to a British economist.

In a recent interview with the Xinhua News Agency, John Ross, senior fellow at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China, said China's economy was growing more rapidly than any other major economy in the world, making it extremely attractive to investors.
