Duterte appoints 7 CA justices, 36 judges before election ban

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has appointed seven new justices of the Court of Appeals and more than 30 judges, according to the Supreme Court before the election ban on appointments on March 10.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo's office announced that the new CA magistrates are Mercedita Dadole-Ygnacio, Jaime Fortunato Caringal, Eduardo Ramos, Jr., Jill Rose Jaugan-Lo, Jose Lorenzo Dela Rosa, Rex Bernardo Pascual, and Emily San Gaspar-Gito.
