Rica Salomon is a lot of things to her thousands of followers — an inspiring figure, an awesome content creator, and as of late, a budding entrepreneur. Rica is many things but to me, she will always be the cousin who was there for me when I needed an ear and bore no judgment during a difficult time of my life. Through the years, I have seen Rica take full ownership of her life and live life in a way that is always true to herself. It has been such a joy to witness her bloom both in her personal life and her professional life. Rica has also been using her platform to inspire others, when asked about this, Rica simply said, 'If I'm being honest, I just live my life unapologetically because in doing so, I empower people to believe in themselves and learn to be their authentic selves as well.' She takes advocacy further through the creation of Kayu Beauty.

In 2022, Rica, along with a core group of friends, started Kayu Beauty, a dream she's had in her heart for awhile.
