Millennials and Gen-Zers may only have heard his name as the street name near the SM Mall of Asia, but it may be inspiring to tell the story of how he became the "Father of Human Rights Advocacy in the Philippines." Rights most of us enjoy today.
Because despite being, perhaps, on top of the world as senator of the Republic, his life changed on the night of Sept. 22, 1972.
